Somebody Give This Pilot A Raise

From FOX News.com: A U.S. Airways jet crashed Thursday in the Hudson River in New York City, sending passengers fleeing into the icy waters.
It wasn't immediately known whether anyone was killed or injured in the accident, though initial reports suggested that no one was hurt. The FAA said it was investigating a possible bird strike as the cause of the crash.
Passengers could initially be seen standing on the wings of the Airbus 320 floating in the water.
Flight 1549 took off from New York's LaGuardia Airport at 3:26 p.m. Thursday and was heading for Charlotte, N.C., with 146 passengers and five crew on board.
New York City firefighters, federal transportation officials and an armada of boats were responding to the accident.
"I just thought, 'Why is it so low?' And, splash, it hit the water," said witness Barbara Sambriski, a researcher at The Associated Press.
The plane was submerged in the icy waters up to the windows, and rescue crews had opened the door and were pulling passengers in yellow life vests from the plane. Several boats surrounded the plane, which appeared to be slowly sinking.

"I saw what appeared to be a tail fin of a plane sticking out of the water," said Erica Schietinger, whose office windows at Chelsea Piers look out over the Hudson. "All the boats have sort of circled the area. ... I can't tell what's what at this point."

The Perspective: All I can say is impressive. This is truly a miracle. While this is a developing story, I'll try to talk about what I know.

This pilot, whoever he is, has done an amazing job. No one has died. Everyone got off alive. Wow. Just amazing. Nothing else, can describe this event. God was with the pilots and the passengers of this plane.

Again...wow.
